We're at the end of preparing a DJ set for Bentley Meeker's "Flame to Now IV" at the Whitney Museum of Art! Full of light-inspired tracks and sound pieces made by ourselves, and others.
Good way to spend a Sunday.

Barbara’s cut-glass vocals are familiar from her solo work as Whiteoak, but rather than the mesmeric folk-drone of that project, here they are foregrounded by equally trance-inducing hip-hop and R&B inflections. Over a stuttering half-step beat, “Island Eye” creates an irresistibly womb-like atmosphere, with hypnotic waves of reverb and aquatic pulsations reminiscent of Aphex Twin’s “Analogue Bubblebath”. My artwork on vinyl ( ! )
Treasure Teeth releases their first EP, Sell Your Gold, featuring cover art by yours truly. Available on vinyl + other media. Collaboration with these psychedelic mofos goes back to early 2012. It takes massive cojones to cover your face in caviar for an outdoor shoot in the dead of winter for no apparent reason, so props to Barbie and Mr. Astro for that. Check ‘em out at your local internet retailer.
